If you want to travel within Montreal by public transport, we recommend using the following connections:

Metro

Montreal's metro system is both efficient and user-friendly, facilitating easy travel throughout the city. The nearest metro stop to the F1 circuit is Jean-Drapeau station, located on Saint Helen's Island and approximately a 20-minute walk from the track (it also depends on where your grandstand is located; if you want to be close to the metro station, select grandstands near Turn 10, such as Grandstand 15 or 21).

The price of a ride on the Montreal Metro depends on the type of ticket purchased:

• Single ticket: A single ticket for a ride in Zone A (covering most of the island of Montreal) costs $3.75. Exact change is required when purchasing a single ticket at the station.
• Multi-day passes: The STM offers various multi-day passes that allow unlimited travel within a specific time frame.

River Shuttle

A special river shuttle service – operated by Navettes Fluviales (Montreal River Shuttles) – is available for fans during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend. These boats run from the Old Port of Montreal to Saint Helen's Island, where the Gilles Villeneuve circuit is located.

The river shuttle runs approximately every 30 minutes starting in the morning (from approximately 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM).

The fare costs approximately CAD 5–6 per ride. Tickets can also be purchased online; we recommend checking the latest schedules and routes here before the Grand Prix weekend.
